Tours and access to the Center:
- The SVSC can be visited by appointment on the days and at established opening hours;
- The minimum number of Visitors per tours is 5, while the maximum number is 24. For groups of more than 24 people, the tour can be divided into two groups;
- Tour guides can be provided in English, if requested;
- The SVSC is also usable for visitors with reduced mobility;
- The meeting point for visits is GSK’s main entrance in Via Fiorentina 1, by the sign: SVSC MEETING POINT;
- It is not allowed to use the GSK parking. Visitors with cars will be able to park near GSK in the public parking spaces;
- For visitors with reduced mobility, a parking space will be reserved in front of the SVSC entrance
- Access is not permitted to unaccompanied minors by either parents or other delegated adults;
- respect the visit routes in order to correctly access the information disposed;
- Visitors should only approach exposed items and tools under the supervision of the guide; All devices are to be activated by the guide only;
- You are required to remain in a group following the guide, maintain decent behavior and speak quietly
- Teachers are responsible for the behavior of their students at any time, as per the present regulation;
Storage of Bags and Objects
- Bulky bags, backpacks, umbrellas and any other bulky items must be left in the spaces provided for this purpose. Deposit is free of charge.
Waste
- Papers, cans, bottles or other waste must be disposed of in the appropriate, differentiated containers on site.
Smoke
- Smoking is prohibited (including electronic cigarettes) in all the site premises.
Food and drinks
- For hygiene and safety reasons, food and drinks are not allowed in the premises
Photo shoots
Visitors:
- can take photos and videos as long as the material is used in line with educational purposes of the center itself. Any inappropriate use may be subject to criminal prosecution;
- can photograph and/or film only the people who are members of their family unit or group of friends;
- it’s not allowed to photograph and/or film other visitors (including the tour guide), without first requesting their permission
Mobile phones and other mobile devices
Please mute all mobile devices. The use of devices must be discreet so as not to disturb the visit.
Behavior in an emergency
Follow the information in the emergency plan available at the entrance to the center. In case of emergency, follow the guide’s instructions.
Using oculus
For safety and health reasons, the use of oculus is forbidden to those who have implanted pacemakers or other active medical devices, people with epilepsy, binocular vision, heart problems or other serious health problems; pregnant women and children under 13 years of age.
